A no-stress first order

One shared starter. Two curries. Naan for each.

You do not need six dishes for two people. Start by sharing an appetizer, then order two curries, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala are the easiest first picks. Each curry comes with a cup of rice already included, so just add a naan for each one. Add Mango Lassi if you want something cool and sweet alongside the meal.

What is a good Indian dish for a beginner?

If you want the easiest first curries, start with Butter Chicken or Chicken Tikka Masala. Rice comes with the curry, so just add a garlic naan.

No. Indian food is heavily seasoned, but heat level varies. Korma is mild and fragrant. Butter Masala is rich and mild. Vindaloo and Chettinad are much hotter.

What is biryani?

Biryani is a fragrant rice-centered dish built with long-grain basmati, aromatics and spices. Turmeric’s House Special Chicken Biryani uses boneless chicken, saffron and whole spices.

What is Chicken 65?

Chicken 65 is a South Indian fried chicken starter: boneless chicken marinated with chili, ginger and garlic, fried crisp and finished with curry leaves.

What is naan?

Naan is a soft leavened flatbread baked against the hot wall of a tandoor. It is useful for scooping curry, and garlic naan is one of the easiest first orders.
